HEALTH EQUITY BEGINS WITH WHOLE-PERSON CARE

Supporting individuals & families impacted by sickle cell disease and other hematologic conditions through education, wellness, scholarships, and community.

More Than Medical Care

Living with sickle cell disease and other chronic blood disorders affects more than the body. Pain, mental health, medical trauma, access to care, education, and social barriers can shape every part of a person's life.

HEM Foundation exists to help close the gaps traditional healthcare cannot address alone by supporting the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Through education, community connection, wellness experiences, scholarships, and practical resources, we support the whole person and the families who walk alongside them.
