OUR PROGRAMS
Supporting the whole person through education, wellness, opportunity, and community.
HEM Foundation develops programs that address the physical, mental, emotional, and social factors that influence health. Our work is designed to complement medical care by helping individuals and families access practical education, supportive experiences, financial opportunities, and meaningful community connection.

Investing in brighter futures and healthier communities.
Education has the power to shape lifelong health. HEM Foundation scholarships help reduce educational barriers for students affected by sickle cell disease while supporting individuals pursuing higher education, vocational training, or career advancement.
By investing in education, we're investing in healthier futures, stronger communities, and the next generation of healthcare professionals, advocates, and leaders.
HEM Foundation believes that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for improving health. Our educational programs translate evidence-based science into practical strategies that individuals, families, caregivers, students, and healthcare professionals can use every day.
